In Conversation: With Ranveer Allahbadia
This is my response to Ranveer’s latest Podcast that popped up, as am currently travelling through India, in my feed as a guest on YouTube. I have seen 3 episodes so far of his work; one when I was home in Sydney Australia on Occult Sciences: involving otherworldly agency practices in India, second his episode with an Actor & Comedian Johnny Lever who is a friend of my parents and third his latest with Sandeep Balakrishana.
The below is my response to his third episode I have seen with Sandeep Balakrishana.
Hi Ranveer, G’day. Trust ur well. Saw ur latest episode with Mr. Sandeep B.
Given the new Indian citizenship law amendment which leaves out Muslims that has just been rolled out by BJP, perhaps your timing of this episode was to earn a brownie point with BJP. If it was, you hit bulls eyes, well done!
With Ramadan underway currently this is the worst time for rolling out such sensitive content. BJP rolled out the law to coincide with Ramadan too.
Neither could be a coincidence.
Though you repeatedly say you are looking to unite, not divide. All the same, uncool cause it’s ill timed.
Let’s get into dissecting it, shall we :-).
Please refrain from rolling out any such content for the next 40 days, if u truly are committed to unite. By then Ramadan would have wrapped up and Eid celebrations behind us. It’s just the culturally, morally and ethical right thing to do. I understand you are making an income but there are plenty of other conversations you can have in the next 40 days instead of religious conversations that could potentially be misconstrued or hurt sentiments (hurting clearly you ain’t wanting to do).
Please request Sandeep to read the Quran & quote verses from Quran that allow slavery.
For ur reference here is what the Quran says about slavery. For future get your team to Google in parallel, this is the first reference that pops up. Would have been awesome to see Sandeep’ reaction.
“The Qur'an does not explicitly condemn slavery or attempt to abolish it. Nonetheless, it does provide a number of regulations designed to ameliorate the situation of slaves. It recommends freeing slaves, especially “believing” (as in believing in Islam) slaves (ref verse in Q. 2.177)”.
India also did have slavery, without the assistance of foreign invasions, up until 7th April, 1843. THE INDIAN SLAVERY ACT, 1843 ACT No. V. Of 1843 (Rep., Act 48 of 1952) [7th April, 1843]. Passed by the Right Hon'ble the President of the Council of India in Council, On the 7th of April, 1843, with the assent of the Right Hon,ble the Governor General of India.
Not sure why Sandeep & you were both discussing slavery as a specific attribute to Islam when clearly it’s not a religious facet. Perhaps coz neither of you have actually read the Quran. Forget Quran, have you read the 4 Vedas? Either of you? If you do it does confirm that the Last Prophet peace be upon him will be sent unto humanity as guide/ messenger and the word ‘Elah’ is used to refer Allah (In fact your surname also has Allah in it :-)).
Ask Sandeep a question, If Sandeep or you revert to Islam after reading the Quran today does it change your ancestry to that of the ‘Islamic’ invaders you both refer to? Will you both as reverts to Islam apologize for their bloodshed? Should you be apologetic for their behaviors? Why does Sandeep then expect Indian Muslims to apologize?
The ‘Islamic’ invaders you both refer to, are they Islamic or are they Turkish, Afghani & Arabic invaders? They are Turkish, Afghani and Arabic invaders, that’s less than 20% of the global Islamic population. So we are going to condemn 80% for the crimes of 20%, really?
And their descendants did they settle in India or go back to their roots or move when India was divided?
Data shows they either went back to their roots or moved out of India when India was divided.
The Indian Muslims are Indians who are descendants of local Indians who reverted. Like if you revert to Islam after reading the Quran today your ancestors ain’t going to be the invaders. Is it?
Also that’s why Indian Muslims do not have a seat on the Muslim World League. They are prohibited cause their ancestors are Indians and not the invaders that you both refer to as ‘Islamic’. So no question of apologizing by Indian Muslims for the bloodshed by the invaders.
Why then was Sandeep who is well read not have all of these information points? Perhaps brainwashed by BJP / Congress? Why does BJP Congress et al play the anti Islamic narrative when the Muslims in India are all of Indian descent? Their ancestors have fought the British and are descendants of freedom fighters.
Please request Sandeep to do research on what is good about Islam? And follow up with a session with him on ‘What is good about Islam?’. This exercise will be educational for Mr. Sandeep helping him grow + as a professional historian it’s his duty to keep himself informed in any case.
History Text that Sandeep attributes to Congress, ‘rat’ & the other word slips my radar that he uses, request him to provide the names of those books, their edition and screenshot of the actual text. If he cannot, he has just committed a crime under IPC. Please take this seriously. Your guests can’t make sweeping statements to create vote banks on falls information. Coach them.
Please read as many books on Theology you can before you bring in anyone like Sandeep. I say this cause it’s easy to get influenced by ill informed individuals like him on Theology specifically (Sandeep’s last 40 minutes on pure history of your session earned my respect for him, specifically ‘Aryavarta Consciousness’). Money we all make Ranveer, it’s important that your being remains wholesome through the process. Else that money earn is futile. Baba Saheb Ambedkar the father of Indian Constitution read all books on Theology as he was not aligned with the caste system and after reading them all decided to revert to Islam (Wikipedia only talks about Sikhism). He was requested by Mahatma Gandhi ji to choose something else coz if he did choose Islam everyone in the backward caste system would revert to Islam as well & that would then have made India a majority Muslim country. On his insistence Baba Saheb chose Buddhism as it comes closest to Islam as per Baba Saheb.
