Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) How do they differ?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) though are being used interchangeably by marketing guns, they differ. An enabler for AI is ML. Think of AI as the strategic building block and ML a tool to implement the strategic block.

Do i need to have deep mathematics and programming skills to get started?

I have an Engineering degree and then i followed it with a Masters in AI & ML. For my Masters research i did need need deep skills in both mathematics and programming. That helped me focus on the actual AI & ML components.

To get started though i'd challenge anyone who said you need deep skills to get started. What you do need is an ability to analyse data. Data mining techniques and exposure to tools like weka will come handy. As you progress on your journey you will, rest assured build deep skills both in mathematics and programming.
